Staff members of the Daily Reckoning, a division of a financial research firm and publishing group Agora Financial, a subsidiary of Agora Inc, had been invited to Washington DC to participate in an off-the-record discussion [...]

Neither party is above reproach in that each has over the years implemented policies that have not always been good ones with some being rather costly. But we have a tendency to waste valuable energy and resources bickering whose to blame when things go awry, dividing and sub-dividing ourselves between our party affiliations. Doing so diverts [...]

An Open Letter to President Obama; Why Is Corporate America Destroying Our Economy?

“When you grow up on a farm in Georgia, your first girlfriend is a mule.”
May 1st, 2009 · 1 Comment
politics in the State of Georgia can be strange – and after reading one of Raw Story’s lead headlines this morning, I’m compelled to stand-up for my fellow Georgian’s and make a few things clear. No, “When you grow up on a farm in Georgia, your first girlfriend is (not) a mule!” Obviously, this statement does not apply to all of Georgia’s young men who grew-up on a farm, and even to suggest that bestiality is common-place in Georgia is an insult to thousands that participate in small-town Georgia, where farming and community based projects are a way of life. I don’t believe that those who choose to have sex with animals is any more prevalent than in other farming communities – and to suggest otherwise is a feeble attempt to justify ones personal behavior that “aberrant” only begins to explain…
