A Look At Congress’s Secret Session And What It Means To America

For as long as I’ve been writing and especially since I opened my own site, I’ve heard GOP operatives and even members of Congress accusing America’s Bloggers of being paranoid and “assuming evidence that is not in the record.” Now, it appears the shoe is on the other foot, and on March 13, 2008, our own Congress decided it was necessary to hold a secret session of The House of Representatives and discuss information they felt was not proper for the American people to hear or even be told about. Unfortunately, members of Congress who attend these secret sessions of Congress, which are highly unusual, are sworn to secrecy – so the contents of those meetings are often heavily debated without substantiating evidence, as the people who were actually there aren’t talking. (At least not to mainstream news sources where they can be quoted, however, as in almost every aspect of our government, Members of Congress and other governmental officials who believe that important information germane to the safety of America needs to be disclosed, they do it through “unnamed sources” and leak the information where they have a guarantee on remaining anonymous, often the foreign press – yet feel strongly enough that “the people” should know what our Representatives are planning, and the possible impact to them (Congress) and the American people. The same holds true with “Whistle blowers”, who have on several occasions revealed corruption in the government and often suffer the consequences of what we as a society should consider to be patriotic and heroic behavior. Illegal government wiretaps make it harder for our own Congress to leak information, and even harder on “Whistle blowers” who the government despises for bringing out the truth in what has quickly become somewhat of a “closed society.”

Dennis Kucinich refused to attend this secret Congressional meeting and actually chastised the House of Representatives, in what was polite but firm language, and reminded them that “this is the citadel of free speech”, referencing the House of Representatives – and warned House Members that what they were doing was morally and constitutionally unacceptable. I admire Representative Kucinich for his tenacity and determination in attempting to protect free speech and bring the US back to our system of checks and balances – but in regard this one meeting, I wish Mr. Kucinich would have attended, then at least we could have heard from him whatever he felt compelled to release even though he was sworn to secrecy. One thing is evident with Dennis Kucinich – his loyalty is to his constituents and the American people, not the lobbyists and GOP henchmen that control most of our Congress. The video of Representative Kucinich is embedded below for your viewing, and after you view it – it becomes even more obvious that Mr. Kucinich, if not marginalized by a fascist MSM, would have made an ideal candidate for President of The United States. Anyone can “talk the talk”, but Dennis Kucinich “walks the walk”, a rarity in our government and both halls of Congress.

Unfortunately, our Mainstream News Media, had almost nothing to say about this secret Congressional meeting. MSNBC ran a fairly good piece, however they concentrated on only what they could verify, and these meetings are incredibly hard to interpret and we have to attempt to figure-out whether information that has been leaked is real or nothing but conspiracy theories. however, as hard as that may sound, by linking to and bringing attention to other known facts, we can connect some of the dots and based on logic and the factual content of other stories, at least know that some of what has been discussed is as real as American apple pie whenever we have the money to afford it and when American apples are sold as often as cheaper imports. MSNBC’s Video is here, and it didn’t cover the secret Congressional hearing, but points out in extremely strong language how our Congress is betraying the American people. We must ask ourselves why they are bending-over backwards to a lame-duck President, and then consider this information with leaks that have occurred from the “secret Congressional meeting” that was supposed to discuss the FISA Bill, which could have been done in public. To discuss pending legislation in secret makes no sense, especially when it was discussed anyway during normal congressional hearings. Obviously, something was discussed that our government did not want the American people to hear:

Traitors in Congress Betray The American People–Again

Three days ago, there was information everywhere on this subject, but now that I’m writing it up, I’ve noted that several U-Tube Videos have been “scrubbed”, so research on this topic has become even more difficult than it was just a few days ago, proof to me that certain elements in our government are clearing-out any information that American’s can easily find on a subject that affects the entire United States. I have to take the blame for falling ill and believing what I read and heard one day would be there the next; in our rapidly developing police state, the control of information is tantamount in controlling the masses, so the “Infowars” as coined by Alex Jones are real and an intricate part of the Pentagon’s propaganda machine. I did find an article on Op-Ed News that covered many of the aspects of the story I heard on U-Tube, and several appear to have been leaked to an Australian News publication:

Excuse this interruption of deadly serious matters, to ask what you’re packing for the internment camp stay.

by Linn Cohen-Cole

Twice now, I have seen reference to a secret meeting in the House of Representatives in which people were informed that the US is on the verge of financial collapse and martial law. It was reported here: click here . (Author’s Note: The link brings the reader back to the main page of Op-Ed News. I did find a link that discussed this meeting in general from Australia, and that link is here: LINK) The meeting, one of only four such secret meetings in the last 25 years, Congresspeople were allegedly told:

* The imminent collapse of the U.S. Economy to occur sometime in late 2008
* The imminent collapse of the U.S. Government finances sometime in mid 2009
* The possibility of Civil War inside the United States as a result of the collapse
* The advance round-ups of “insurgent U.S. Citizens” likely to move against the government
* The detention of those rounded up at The REX 84 Camps constructed throughout the United States
* The possibility of public retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses
* The location of safe facilities for members of Congress and their families to reside during massive civil unrest
* The necessary and unavoidable merger of The U.S. with Canada and Mexico establishing The North American Union
* The issuance of a new currency called the AMERO for all three nations as an economic solution.

While there are wars going on, and a FISA aftermath, and impeachment to push, and so much more, obviously if the items listed above are accurate, investigating and reporting on about this and coordinating to deal with it, seem rather logical things to happen now.MUCH MORE

To look at it objectively, we need to consider each and every so-called “fact” that was leaked and or theorized by those whom posted the original information.

* The imminent collapse of the U.S. Economy to occur sometime in late 2008
* The imminent collapse of the U.S. Government finances sometime in mid 2009

The first two allegations or however you care to parse the critique are not news. European sources have been predicting the collapse of our economy for weeks, and I wrote an extremely popular article on it myself, so these two items are likely facts, not supposition. The US Is On The Verge Of Utter Financial Collapse And Martial Law Further, we know that the IMF is sending a team(s) to the US to investigate our banks, it’s obvious that Europe and the international community are immensely concerned with our economy and the rampant fraud occurring unabated in our banking system. The collapse of our economy and our weak dollar is effecting the entire world, so we can expect that international regulating systems will now have to devise a plan, much as they have had to do for Third World Countries, to attempt to stabilize the United States before we drag-down the rest of the world with Bush’s failed financial policies.

* The possibility of Civil War inside the United States as a result of the collapse

and

* The advance round-ups of “insurgent U.S. Citizens” likely to move against the government

* The detention of those rounded up at The REX 84 Camps constructed throughout the United States

These three allegations or suppositions by the government may be dependent on one another. I’m not sure “who” we would carry out a civil war against, as the few remaining Bush supporters would likely forsake their “Decider” once the reality of his incompetence becomes obvious and no one can afford food and our shops and stores are bare of items – or so expensive that only the wealthy can afford to purchase them. I would expect that Bush would attempt to declare martial law, but he may face impeachment on a scale that boggles the mind in how fast it would have to occur to save the country from anarchy and a complete take-over by elements from the fascists that believe their values and plans supersede that of the majority of the American public. I can easily foresee widespread looting and rioting, something I hope we can head-off by the swift impeachment/imprisonment of those who are responsible for destroying our economy and eviscerating our Middle-class. I would caution people to pressure Congress to protect the people and impeach now before it becomes a national security issue, but I know they won’t, as it appears they have been frightened again into submission as evidenced by their capitulation of the FISA Legislation.

When our economy collapses, the people will know that those of us who have dared to question the government and report the facts and news the Mainstream News Media refuses to print were right, and if the second clause discussed above takes place, and those of us who have attempted to warn the American people are hauled-off to FEMA’s concentration camps, then a civil war could break out as Americans rise-up in anger and realize they have been deceived by their President, and even worse, by the news networks that many trusted to give them their daily news. Most of you will note that most of the Bloggers are older, have already lived in freedom that most of you will never fully appreciate, but it’s not us who they should fear, but the young guns who will be furious that their way of life and country have been destroyed. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Democrat, Republican, or Independent – we all love our country, and even though we may have different political views, none will speak kindly or react without rage when out economy collapses and America is turned into a third world country.

We know for a fact that the FEMA internment camps exist, and we know they had to be built for a reason, and even today, there is still a press blackout on their existence. So much for “free speech” and living in a free society… If you go over to Infowars, Alex Jones has covered the subject quite well, and one of my articles is quoted there too – and my most read piece of all time was Now We Know Why There’s A Press Blackout On S 1959 – It’s Called “ENDGAME” By DHS – Updated 5/27/08 This was an article that helped to spread the message to millions of Americans and is cross-posted and linked-to by almost every major Liberal/Progressive site you can imagine and is read each and every day by a global audience – and yes Mr. Bush and Congress, the entire world is watching you and waiting to see what happens next.

To me, the final clue that the government is planning on declaring Martial Law is the recruitment of 26,000 plus members of the clergy to help talk Americans into giving-up their guns and going peacefully to FEMA internment camps. I believe that the clergy is starting to see that they are being used to further a fascist agenda, and several churches are disavowing politics in their churches. I am a constitutionalist and firmly believe in our constitution and the Bill of Rights. Thomas Jefferson and several of our founding father made sure to include this important right in our constitution, and they did it with good reason:

“And what country can preserve it’s liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.” Thomas Jefferson

This is the video on the clergy who are being recruited in huge numbers to help the government keep and restore order if they “have” to declare martial law:

26,000 Pastors for Martial Law Continuity of Government

If 26,000 members of the clergy actually stand-up for a government they know is corrupt, and defiles our own constitution and rule of law, I my have to change my opinion of the Anti-Christ and may consider that he might be real, and is busy recruiting his disciples right under our noses, exactly as was written by those who believe in the existence of the Anti-Christ.

In Australia, guns were taken away from the citizens with what I believe have been disastrous results. Please visit The Right To Keep And Bear Arms, and it will only take a few minutes to grasp how serious it is when a nation is disarmed, even under the best of intentions. I believe that Americans should keep their guns and under no circumstance should they be given-up, and I base that on what happened in Australia, the current slide into fascism and an authoritarian style of government, and most importantly, the Constitution of the United States, which expressly gives us those rights, and no President has the God-given right to destroy what’s left of our civil rights. If anarchy does gain a foothold in this country, how will you feel when it’s the thieves and murderers who have the guns and you remain helpless to defend your own family and food? Do not be tempted by those who are coerced to help the government, but rely upon your individual civil liberties and good old common-sense. We are Americans, we know our rights, and we know that crime is already on the rise, and to give-up our ability to defend ourselves borders on insanity, especially in a political situation where the government may be planning on locking-up millions of innocent Americans.

* The possibility of public retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses
* The location of safe facilities for members of Congress and their families to reside during massive civil unrest

If these items are correct, which I believe they are, they are nothing more than the “politics of fear”, and as noted by the FISA Legislation, they worked like a charm! Congress has a terrible approval rating, but the American people are a forgiving people, and if they get off their duffs (Congress) and perform their constitutional duty to impeach, or act in a manner that is consistent with our rule of law and impeach/imprison the perpetrators of our economic collapse, if it happens, I don’t believe they have anything to worry about. It’s hard to imagine “open season” on Members of Congress, although be forewarned, if our economy collapses, the people will be looking at Congress to do the right thing and fulfill their constitutional duties, and if they don’t, it may serve to drive the nation into utter chaos. (I’m hoping that Congress is holding Judicial hearing on Dennis Kucinich’s articles of impeachment because they finally understand how dire our situation is, and knowing that several Republicans voted for these hearing to take place, there may be hope for us to throw-off the yoke of oppression before it is impossible to break.)

* The necessary and unavoidable merger of The U.S. with Canada and Mexico establishing The North American Union
* The issuance of a new currency called the AMERO for all three nations as an economic solution.

These last two items are subjects that I haven’t had the time to study, therefore I will render no opinion on matters that others can comment upon with facts and clarity, while I would only have to guess. I do believe it’s a possibility, but for reasons that are my personal beliefs – and are again guided by greed and corruption. Opening the southern border means cheap labor for whatever American corporations survive, and even of more importance is opening-up the routes into Canada from Mexico so they too can be plundered by the drug trade that is rampant in the United States. Canada has its own drug problems, but if a super-highway is brought into existence and easy-access is granted to Mexico’s drug cartels, the problems in Canada will become severely exacerbated. (IMO)

It may be unrealistic, but I remain an optimist and believe that if America’s corporations will work with Congress, the IMF, and re-invest in America, we can save our nation and begin the task of re-building; it will be laborious, and we will all suffer, but together, and toward a common goal. The mere act of impeaching Bush and Cheney would cause the dollar to rise, and the global community would begin to have faith in an America that used to be admired and copied by new democracies that were emerging throughout the world. If the greed and corruption is allowed to continue unabated in Washington, I fear for my country and believe that our very existence as a free and prosperous nation is at risk – as is the health and welfare of the global community.

As a final thought, the millions who have lost their jobs, pensions, and way of life because their jobs were outsourced by greedy corporations and politicians have the right to “whine.” So do those who are on fixed-incomes and can barely feed themselves, and know that it’s going to get worse. Our youth has been dumbed-down and now it’s harder than ever to secure a college education, and they also have a right to whine and demand that we care first about Americans – and then be charitable to others after we weather this upcoming storm. The die is cast and the next few weeks or months will spell-out our future. Now that we can see our own nation collapsing unto itself, the time for whining is past, and we lose that right if we sit back in complacency and hope that someone else will fix our problems.

Each and every American alive has the ability to help return our nation to its constitutional roots and the rule of law, and from that, peace and prosperity will follow. Never before has freedom been on such thin-ice, and it’s time for all of us to pitch in and act, tell your neighbor and ask our churches to spread the truth. To those pastors that are being recruited to help FEMA disarm America as our economy collapses, remember your Bible and stand-up for your congregations! Once freedom is lost, so will freedom of religion soon follow, and if you examine our past, it is written in stone that every fascist government follows the same path. Do no be beguiled by the serpent that you constantly preach to your congregations, and yes, practice what you preach!

Take heed that there will be “agent provocateurs” who, at the first hint of a crisis, will attempt to ingratiate themselves with the public to foster violence and give the government an excuse to declare martial law. Ignore them, or better yet, treat them as the enemies of our society they are, and know that by simply refusing to work or do anything to support an illegal government, they can be stopped in their tracks! Remember Katrina and how when FEMA failed the people, it was “the people” who eventually banded together and helped those who were in need.

People of all faiths will be asked to respect the government and give-up our weapons and the clergy will emphasize that it is necessary for us to follow the law of the land. I agree. We have laws, a Constitution, Bill of Rights, and laws that govern even the President and Congress, even though they have chosen to ignore our own and international law. To follow a law or declaration that we know runs afoul of our constitution and rule of law is un-American, and any member of the clergy that believes they are helping by preying on their own congregations have lost their ability to discern truth from lies, and if they side with a dictator style government, in my opinion, become part of the problem rather than the solution.

Our infrastructure is old and has been neglected by decades of Congress spending our money on useless earmarks and a host of other projects that have benefited everyone other than the American public. China stands as an economic giant because of the greed and complicity of Wal-Mart as they led the charge to outsource everything to raise their bottom-line, and all they have to do is remember Sam Walton and his constant reminders to “buy American” when he was still alive, something that if we all did, could bring back hope and prosperity to a nation that 82% of her population believe is “heading in the wrong way.” If we riot and a civil war breaks-out, our infrastructure will be torn apart, and repairing it will take generations. No matter what happens, this nation cannot operate without the American people driving its infrastructure and businesses – and this is a truism that cannot be ignored or forgotten. Once our infrastructure is destroyed, with the onslaught of global warming and reduced crops to contend with, our decent into third-world status will be irreversible. Even if Congress discussed none of the above, all of the other facts are still true, the internment camps exist, we are all being illegally spied upon, the military has turned its satellites against her own population, and the government is expecting to have a reason to declare martial law.

If you haven’t stored at least a few weeks of foods and medicines, it’s time to get it done, now while you still can. History has shown us that the government will attempt to use food as a weapon, and when it’s used in that manner, it is extremely effective. Rice, pinto beans and other items that are still relatively low in cost can stop your family from starving and being able to function without having to expose yourselves to programs that offer food for weapons, or trick you into an internment camp with the promise that you will be well fed and cared for. The clock is ticking and time grows short. Above all, we must remember our heritage and who we are – Americans, people who believe in freedom and liberty, and strong people that have fought for our freedoms before, and soon may be called upon to stand-up and be counted once again – and we will prevail.

William Cormier

Footnote: I believe strongly in the separation of church and state, however, our own government is attempting to recruit the clergy to further their political plans. This is an unconstitutional practice, and I have a firm belief that when it’s a matter of national security and our very existence as a free society is at risk, it becomes the clergy’s responsibility to serve to protect their congregations, not be used to further the political agenda of a group that has virtually destroyed much of our nation. I say to all religions that we have a responsibility to uphold the law of the United States, not the edicts of an individual and cabal of individuals that have raped and plundered the American economy. Enough is enough.

Commercial bankruptcies soar, reflecting widening economic woes

By Tony Pugh | McClatchy Newspapers

WASHINGTON — Driven by a sour economy and skittish consumers, U.S. business bankruptcies saw their sharpest quarterly rise in two years, jumping 17 percent in the second quarter of 2008, according to an analysis by McClatchy.

Commercial filings for the first half of 2008 are up 45 percent from last year, as the national climate for commerce continues to deteriorate amid rising energy and food costs, mounting job losses, tighter credit and a reticence among consumers to part with discretionary income.

From April through June, 15,471 U.S. businesses called it quits, according to data from Automated Access to Court Electronic Records, an Oklahoma City bankruptcy management and data company. MUCH MORE

Get over the bible as it is useless and it has been used to prove disasters and 'gods wrath' everytime there is a chaotic period in human life. There is no creature in any myth as horrid and cruel as the OT tribal god. Jesus was a nutjob who only came for those just like himself. Grow up. I think the bible is both a handbook of control and deception for simple minded fools. Also, if you people haven't figured out by now that Alex Jones is a government disinfo agent then you are completely clueless.

A lot of what you say is dead on except for the part of the antichrist. You should look more into it and Bible Predictions. The things that are happening around the world are lining up exactly the way scripture predicts.

Look up the Declaration of Independence. It is amazing how close it resembles where we are in todays society to where the founders of our great nation were at the begining of this nation.

” He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the publis good.”

“He has obstructed the Administration of Justice by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers.”

“He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the consent of our legislatures.”

” He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.”

“For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent.”

I especially like this last statement here because it is exactly what just happened in congress. They just spent 700 billion tax dollars without the consent of the American People. I know we elect people to represent us in Washington but come on. In a matter of 700 billion dollars dont you think we should have been able to decide? Is that not what this Declaration was about?

Honestly, if you replace He with They we are pretty close to rewriting this Declaration, because that is exactly what is happening. I wonder if this 700 billion dollar bill had been put on the National Ticket in November and voted on how many people would have actually voted for it? Over 400 pages loaded up with payback money.

We have a crisis on our hands to be sure. I wish there was a web site dedicated to the votes of our elected officials showing what they voted for. Do we really have a way to track how they are representing us? Do they not work for us?

I got a great email today that really sums it up for everyone. Its not about party here. One is no different from the other imo. You read this and decide for yourself how you feel.

    545 PEOPLE
    By Charlie Reese

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don’t propose a federal budget. The president does.

You and I don’t have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations.

    The House of Representatives does.

You and I don’t write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don’t set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don’t control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don’t care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator’s responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted — by present facts — of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can’t think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it’s because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it’s because they want it in the red.

If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it’s because they want them in IRAQ .

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people,

it’s because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems!!!

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like ‘the economy,’ ‘inflation,’ or ‘politics’ that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

Charlie Reese is a former columnist of the Orlando Sentinel Newspaper.

What you do with this article now that you have read it is up to you, though you appear to have several choices.

    1. You can send this to everyone in your address book, and hope ‘they’ do something about it.

    2. You can agree to ‘vote against’ everyone that is currently in office, knowing that the process will take several years.

    3. You can decide to ‘run for office’ yourself and agree to do the job properly.

    4. Lastly, you can sit back and do nothing, or re-elect the current bunch.

YOU DECIDE, BUT AT LEAST SEND IT TO EVERYONE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK,

MAYBE SOMEONE IN THERE WILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

You have produced NO credible sources.

Look around you. The government would already be rounding up our guns. At least the House of Representaives would be trying to enact laws to prize our fingers off those triggers post haste.

I know you’re probably turning over a rock in the orchard looking for conspiracy. Sad to say, but this is still America. It may not be in the best place… but it’s still far and above the kinda of poison you are spewing.

My original comment was uncalled for. You are guaranteed to have your own beliefs, and on that matter, we can agree to disagree. The comment “See you in an internment camp!” sounded like a threat, and I would imagine that you’re a government employee. Yeah, I definitely have a healthy fear for individuals like you who would take someone’s freedom for exercising their constitutional right of free speech.

I looked at what had been previously been posted on the web several times and attempted to go through each and every allegation, one by one. Even if the alleged statements were never real, the allegations hold a certain amount of credibility from factual evidence we already have.

Today, Bush’s real reasons for attacking Iraq were made known, and it indicates an even wider pattern of lying to the public. Yes, I want him and Cheney impeached, and if we could ever get in real impeachment hearings and the general public became acutely aware of his many crimes, just as it was with Nixon, the calls for impeachment begin to reverberate throughout the nation from an awakened population.

The dollar would almost immediately gain in value, gas prices would go down, and we could begin to help this nation which has been sorely neglected. It’s funny in a sad sort of way, but this is one Blog that has always been against violence, am adamant that I don’t want to see a civil war start because of the potential damage to our infrastructure – and you threaten me with an internment camp. Bravo! Typical Neo-con behavior when a more civil comment could have opened up a dialogue.

I will never agree with the right-wing take-over of America, Internment Camp or not, and believe me, I’m no hero. I believe in my country and have hopes that one day there will be a mass-awakening among the American people. I seek change through legal means, and if that gets me thrown in an Internment Camp – then so be it. To many of our Congressmen who are cowering in fear from blackmail and threats, and to allow it to affect our writing in a time when we believe we are attempting to save America, to pull-punches and speak with words that are extremely deceptive goes against everything I believe in.

For some of us, our destiny is already sealed, but at least we attempted to decimate the truth as honestly as we can, and for someone that’s disabled, that’s about the best I can do for my country. DHS and FEMA have somehow mixed-up patriotism and terrorism, so if you support you country but disagree with its policies, and are verbal about it, winding-up on the terrorist watch list is as easy as pie.

You may not agree with what I write, but at least read the entire article, and then if you note discrepancies, let’s start a dialogue.

In regard impeachment, this is a comment I just posted on a thread on Op-Ed News:

Impeachment Hearings Would Bring More Dems Into Congress

Pelosi’s statement, in short terms, was pure B.S. During the non-impeachment hearing(s), there were several crimes articulated that easily would qualify as impeachable offenses, and Pelosi and Conyers’ are perfectly aware of this fact.

The bottom-line is that Nancy Pelosi was part of the “Gang of Eight” and she was briefed on our illegal torture procedures, and because the President stated it was “classified”, she chose to remain silent and therefore became a criminal enabler of their policies. Pelosi won’t allow impeachment because the hearings would likely implicate her and several other members of Congress. This is simply a matter of CYA and adhering to AIPAC’s will and has nothing to do whether or not Bush committed “high crimes and misdemeanors – plus treason.”

If Barrack Obama has been going along with the crowd, so to speak, to make sure he is elected, and then follows-up as he has promised to do in regard the alleged crimes of the Bush Administration, Pelosi and several other Democrats will go down as well – and if they deserve it, then I am in favor of prosecuting anyone, regardless of their political affiliation, for crimes perpetrated against the American people.

She fired off another lame excuse a couple of weeks ago and stated that she was against impeachment because she was “Bipartisan…” WTF? What does being bipartisan have to do with prosecuting an individual for crimes they committed against the American people and the global community? If the President and Vice-President of the United States refuse to uphold our laws, and if you believe in leadership by example, then why should the average American obey our laws when the Commander in Chief refuses to do so himself? This is the most ridiculous set of circumstances I have ever witnessed in my entire lifetime, and it’s more than obvious that Bush and Cheney cannot be impeached because they would take-down so many Congressmen/women along with them that none dare to impeach for fear of their own careers.

I have always maintained that if the people themselves could sponsor a Bill that gives most of Congress immunity and refuse to release information that was illegally gathered through wiretaps and spying on our own Congress, Bush and Cheney would be history in a matter of weeks. If we look at the “big picture”, it is far better for the country to grant immunity to the multitude of Congress that have been ensnared by illegal surveillance methods than it is to leave a criminal President and VP in power. I’ll admit it makes me sick to think that so many who are culpable in this conspiracy would walk, but for the greater good, it would pay-off in spades and help to save liberty and freedom in our nation.

Justice Department attorneys have actually developed a code when they speak on the phone because they know they are being illegally wiretapped, and some actually fear for their lives – and this is a police-state that has to be broken, no matter what the consequences are. There are certain players that could never get immunity, such as Rove, Bolton, and the high-flying architects of this coup, but lets face it, if we lose a few to get rid of Bush and Cheney before they can damage us even more, it would be well worth allowing some of them to escape prosecution for the betterment of the whole – meaning the bulk of the U.S. and the global community.

This entire fiasco falls under the RICO statutes, and all that is needed is a secret prosecutor, which Congress has the ability to appoint, and then it can be prosecuted under our rule of law, and RICO is made in heaven to bring this house of cards down, and in a manner where the public will be well-informed of “why” impeachment is a necessity rather than something they may or may not want to do. The law is the law, and under RICO, the amount of corrupt Congressmen and members of the Executive branch would fall, and their fall would be monumental and breathe new life into a nation that has done nothing except to enable criminals who are hell-bent on destroying the American way of life.

Please Congress, wake-up and the people will protect you if you protect us from Bush and Cheney. It’s easy to see the benefits of following our own law, and no matter who the next President is, “the people” will come out ahead, and might even stave off war with Iran, among other things. We know the Bush administration is blackmailing Congress, so immunity for all but the key players would make sense and break the deadlock in regard impeachment.

Most people are unaware that Dick Cheney’s “shadow government” is operating because we are still under a state of emergency after 911; it is imperative that we break this deadlock and bring the rule of law and sanity back into our Congress and restore our system of checks and balances; if we fail, we will be electing another King and not a President, and in order to maintain what our constitution embodies, it’s necessary to use the full spectrum of our laws and procedures to get the United States back on a course of democracy and freedom.

So far Obama has made many of the right moves, but if he is elected to what is an “imperial Presidency”, we will again be dealing with an executive that can ignore the rule of law, and even worse, could legitimately ignore our constitution and international law, much as Bush has done for the past seven and a half years, Enough is enough! Our economy is close to utter collapse, but Impeaching Bush and Cheney would breathe new life into the value of the dollar, gas and food costs would be reduced significantly, and with a little luck and an enormous amount of work, impeachment is the best bet on saving an economy that right now, is destined to fail. We have the ability to save America, and that can only be accomplished by impeaching Bush, Cheney, and prosecuting those who have blatantly ignored our constitution and the rule of law. Imagine how fast the United States would; again be respected and viewed as the premier democracy in the world instead of becoming a target for several nations that now look upon us as an aggressor and are rapidly making plans to usher in the downfall of what used to be the strongest and most respected superpower in the world. Our future hinges on impeachment, and Americans had better wake-up to that fact unless they are ready to lose everything we have fought and died for over the past 200 years. Yes, it’s that serious.

Maybe you consider that comment “over the top”, but it’s what I believe and to post anything else would be lying to myself and deceiving my readership./ No. I’m old and don’t want to wind-up in an Internment Camp, but the alternative is to remain quiet as I watch the United Sates imploding, and it’s an issue that I must attempt to deal with.

This would be much more entertaining if it wasn’t so politically biased. Rule #1 is “write to your audience.” Although “extremists” of either end of the spectrum love things like “facism” “socialist” “racist” “nanny state” “greed” etc, they do tend to polarize the other 51% – depending of course on which side you’re writing from.

So the whole “The world wants us to impeach Bush and Cheney – those spawn of Satan!” is a bit over the top. See you in an internment camp!
