One of the first articles I ever wrote was titled “Rick Warren – One of America’s most Dangerous Preachers – Updated.” The article has been extremely popular, as Mr. Warren, in striving to build his one-billion strong “army” of Christian Soldiers has for the most part, been running under the radar in those and other efforts. Most Americans are woefully under-educated on his activities, but now, on top of everything else, Rick Warren has added being a liar to his reputation – which in my opinion, should change Obama’s mind in allowing this liar posing as a Christian to deliver the inauguration invocation. If a true Christian, which I have maintained that Warren isn’t also gets caught in a lie, then his credibility as a “man of God” should be brought into question.
If it wasn’t for the Internet, none of us would be privy to these facts, but facts they are – and Rick Warren has proved again that for him, Christianity is just a front for his various ulterior motives. (Read the above article.) I didn’t approve of him delivering the invocation in the first place, but now that he has been caught in a bald-faced lie – it’s time for Obama to give him the boot! President-Elect Obama has stated that he will bring a new face and hope to the American people, however, Rick Warren is the face of hate, and reaching across the isle to right-wing nutcases, no matter how popular they are is a slap in the face to anyone who really knows this man posing as a preacher.
Warren in basking in the honor of being at the inauguration, and as usual, he used the opportunity to slam those who don’t agree with his twisted ideals – and he did it with a lie! How “Christian” of him…
Christophobia? Rick Warren scandal ‘getting weirder’: Maddow
RAW Story – David Edwards and Muriel KaneMSNBC’s Rachel Maddow believes that the uproar over Barack Obama’s selection of Pastor Rick Warren to deliver his inaugural invocation might have been subsiding by now, except that Warren himself — very much like Reverend Jeremiah Wright last spring — has stirred things up again with a video address in which he accuses his critics of being “Christophobes.”
In the 22 minute message to his congregation placed on his website last Sunday, Warren first denied ever “equating gay partnership with incest and pedophilia” — which Maddow quickly disproved with a clip of him doing just that — and then went on to attack his critics for their “false accusations, attacks, outright lies, and hateful slander, and really a lot of hate speech.”
“It’s what I would call ‘Christophobia.’” Warren concluded. “People who are afraid of any Christian.”
“Might those people possibly just be Pastor Rick-o-phobes?” Maddow asked. MUCH MORE
By the way Mr. Warren, I have nothing against true Christians, just those that pose as such to advance their own agenda. Mr. Warren’s hate speech has been well documented, a fact he seemed to forget, and if he lies to his own congregation, he is as far from being what I call a Christian by light years and is in the same class as our current President, using Christianity to advance goals that make true Christians shudder in disgust. Do your own research; Rick Warren is far from being a true Christian and uses his position to empower those who live for hate – not God.
