EarthQuake & Volcano Update for April 22nd, And It Isn’t Good – Important Update!

The continuous activity in the Cascadia Subduction Zone becomes more ominous by the day (IMO), and the people of Mexico are praying the Popocatepetl volcano will not experience a major eruption, as millions of people live within a 60 mile radius of the volcano.

Geologically Speaking, Today Has Been Extremely Active And There Could Be More To Come… Updated

It's extremely rare to experience two (2) Great Quakes within hours of each other as witnessed in Indonesia earlier this morning. North America is also experiencing an ominous amount of earthquakes, and today, a Magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck MICHOACAN, MEXICO, followed this evening by a 5.9 Magnitude quake which struck within the area of the Cascadia Subduction Zone.

Earthquakes Are Marching Northward And More Activity Occurs Today; What Does It Mean? UPDATED

Today there were two earthquakes off of the coast of Mexico which cannot be termed as aftershocks from the Magnitude 7.4 - OAXACA, MEXICO Quake which struck on March 20th, just a few days ago. The two quakes that occurred today began with a 5.0 shock centered on the westernmost boundary of the Cosos Tectonic Plate which was soon followed by a larger 6.0 earthquake:

March Site Update And Another West Coast Earthquake Warning

This is where the problem lies; for the past several decades, if not for almost three hundred (300) years, the Cascadia Subduction Zone has, for all practical purposes, been close to dormant and it appears for the past few decades the tectonic plates have been firmly "locked." When we wrote "Volcanic Activity Appears To Be Working It’s Way Around The “Ring of Fire” in January of 2008, we based this prediction on years of research and a firm belief that "Earthquake Patterns" are real albeit extremely difficult to interpret. We now believe that our hypothesis has been proven beyond any reasonable doubt as evidenced by the re-awakening of the Cascadia Subduction Zone within such a short amount of time (geologically speaking) of our prediction and rationale for said activity. (Please see "Increase Of Earthquakes And Volcanic Activity Are Caused By Climate Change.")

The Cascadia Subduction Zone Demonstrates 6.0 Quake Activity And The West Coast Could Be In Danger

These past few months have brought unprecedented activity to the Cascadia Subduction Zone, possibly the most dangerous seismic zone on the U.S. West Coast. We have witnessed 4.0 + quakes at each end of the zone which have become almost commonplace and just a few minutes ago, there was a 6.0 quake off the coast of Oregon, rattling the subduction zone with higher and higher magnitude quakes which and at this time, we have to ask ourselves if these quakes are "pre-quakes" that could be leading up to an event of unimaginable death and destruction.

Katla Volcano Is Under Close Observation By Icelandic Vulcanologists And Is Still Extremely Dangerous

There’s a lot of speculation regarding an imminent eruption at Iceland’s Katla Volcano, albeit not via the Mainstream News Media. The geothermal mechanics that tie the Katla and Eyjafjallajokull volcanoes together is not well understood even within the scientific community so what we are witnessing, in this author’s opinion, is speculation coupled with a healthy ... What Caused Colorado’s 5.3 Earthquake on August 23rd And Other Unrelated U.S. Seismic Activity?

As of this date there has been no definitive explanation on what caused the recent 5.3 earthquake that rattled Colorado on August 23rd at 37.070°N, 104.700°W.  We are being precise in the exact location to aid in identifying what could have caused this quake, and while our hypothesis may not be correct, at this time ... A 5.9 Earthquake Has Rattled The East Coast And Yesterday, Colorado Experienced Their Largest Quake In 40 Years

While working on another project I received a call from a relative asking if I had felt a large Earthquake that shook them awake in Delaware, and has been felt as far north as New Hampshire. We live in the Atlanta area, and while I didn’t feel the temblor, I am currently unaware if there ... Read More »
