In our last Op-Ed, we requested that you support our petition to charge the Tea Party/GOP/Koch Brothers with Economic Terrorism via the Patriot Act’s definition of Domestic terrorism.

This petition is now live at the CARE2 Petition site at this LINK.

It was suggested by two people at Buzzflash that instead of urging prosecution under the Patriot Act, we should instead seek to petition to open a RICO Investigation.

We have given these suggestions the greatest amount of research and consideration possible, however, there is more to the Patriot Act than meets the eye; why it may be hard to charge the Koch Brothers with Domestic Terrorism, please keep in mind that the government is constantly prosecuting people for financial support of terrorist networks. Charging these seditious/treasonous extortionists under the RICO ACT would involve long trials that would further disrupt our efforts to revitalize our economy, but even worse, the Koch Brothers could use their enormous wealth to hire the best attorneys in the United States and would not stop them from using their wealth to subvert democracy and continue buying politicians and others to further their fascist agenda. The Patriot Act would allow us to cut off the funding for the many “Think Tanks” that they fund, which often results in legislation based on their recommendations and phony analysis of every cause they support. In order to stop this assault on our democracy it is necessary to cut-off the heads of the vipers that have been, for decades, attempting to launch their fascist agenda on the majority of the people of the United States.
