It’s finally becoming apparent to millions of Americans that our Mainstream News Media is not worth watch watching if you care about your Civil Liberties and the Royal $crewing that the general public is taking from Congress and the Obama Administration in general. When the Fourth Estate is virtually owned and operated by huge corporate interests, their media was once known to report news rather than simply parroting the government line of propaganda is now a tool of the 1% while braying about stories and a self-censored view of what they perceive the public should be told, often ignoring truth and reality. It’s our view that the virtual elimination of coverage on issues that affect the entire nation is UN-Patriotic, fraudulently leads (CNN) individuals to believe that they cover ALL of the so-called “news” that is vital to the body politic – and that has been a finely honed image which is now cracking and exposing the corruption and lack of ethics that pervades the MSM. It also indicates that truth, facts, and especially maintaining journalistic integrity matter little to these propaganda machines and now the public is showing their disgust and disdain for their betrayal of the American people:

For the month of March, CNN was down -50% in total viewers and down -60% in A25-54 viewers (Total Day). The net was down -21% in Total Viewers and down -26% in A25-54 viewers (Primetime) compared to March 2011.”
The viewer exodus is not limited to CNN, though. Roger Ailes’ aging heavyweight champion FOX News “was not immune to a loss in viewership for the month of March and for the first quarter of 2012. For the month, Fox News is down -17%,” according to another post by Ariens. Perhaps, if I may be so bold, this is what happens to you when you continue to report stories that no longer resemble — even remotely — what your own viewers see outside their windows and apartments.

No, this wasn’t a mistake by CNN, but a pattern of their devolving from one of the best news organizations in the world to one of the United States’ premier propaganda channels has been manifesting itself for years. Until the people themselves re-claim the Fourth Estate, recovering ourselves from the American Fascism we are all beginning to cringe-away from and feel will be close to impossible. ABC isn’t much better, while NBC and CBS often attempt to run a fine line between news and what their corporate masters will allow them to report upon, but for all practical purposes, except on the Internet, The Fourth Estate is dead and The United States is succumbing to fascism.
