Violence Could Be Coming To ‘Occupy Wall Street’ Protest And Other Cities As The GOP Brands The Protests As Dangerous

Main Street America is finally waking-up. It’s been a while since a lot of us could find the justification for being a “Proud American” as we watched fascism and authoritarian rule creeping into every segment of our society while the majority of the people seemed to be in a deep slumber, apparently oblivious to what was happening to their beloved America. I can feel the pride swelling within my heart as I watch and read about the details in regard the many protests now taking place throughout the United States. I have kept abreast of the movement from the beginning, and as it takes on new life and a sense of purpose, the GOP is panicking and labeling the protests as “dangerous.” We already have one documented instance of an agent provocateur and as the right-wing radicals whip-up their followers and throw around language like “anti-American,” “dangerous”, and worst of all, “an attack on freedom.” As you will learn below, the radical right-wing GOP seems hell-bent on claiming that their freedom is being threatened, and in my opinion, are sowing the seeds of discontent and violence as they see their wealthy benefactors being challenged by the American people. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them start setting-up counter protests which would greatly raise the potential for violence, however, to keep a low profile, they may rely upon “Agent Provocateurs.”

Beck: ‘The violent left is coming to kill, to bankrupt, to destroy’

By Andrew Jones
Saturday, October 8, 2011

Not to be outdone by Bryan Fischer’s eye-brow raising statements, Glenn Beck made certain to produce his own headlines at the Voters Value Summit Saturday afternoon.

In his speech, the former Fox News host said, “Hate is on a scale and is growing at a planetary scale of unprecedented size,” before turning his thoughts towards liberals.

“The violent left is coming to our streets, all of our streets, to smash, to tear down, to kill, to bankrupt, and destroy,” Beck said. “It will be global in its natural and global in its scope.” (My emphasis)

This is the Glenn Beck we all know and remember, clueless it would seem, but in reality, he knows exactly what he is doing and inciting his followers is “classic Beck” and if history repeats itself, violence could arise from some of those whom are in his cult of extremism that are playing with 50 cards short of a full deck – and that percentage is too large to ignore. As the rhetoric increases and those that fail to understand the protesters on Wall Street are exercising the essence of freedom, GOP seditionists are ratcheting-up the language to further inflame their base and portray the protests as an actual attack on (their) freedom:

Rep. Paul Broun: ‘Occupy Wall Street’ an attack on freedom

By Eric W. Dolan
Thursday, October 6, 2011

Republicans have begun to line up against the “Occupy Wall Street” movement that began on September 17. During an appearance Thursday on ABC’s Top Line, Republican Rep. Paul Broun of Georgia claimed the protest was an attack on freedom.

“Well, if you look at what they’ve been telling in the media, they don’t know why they’re there, they’re just mad,” he said. “And I see people angry in my district too, but this attack upon business, attack upon industry, attack upon freedom, and I think that’s what this is all about.”

“Now, the unions seem to be weighing in and trying to subvert that anger into a political power to try to reelect a president whose policies are just totally ignorant and incompetent about the economy and how to create jobs and how to create freedom in this country,” Broun added. MUCH MORE

Eric Cantor, the Freshman Senator that constantly resembles a spoiled four-year old child who throws subdued temper tantrums when the President and/or the Majority of the people disagree with his radical policies – including many of his own constituents and party, wasn’t to be outdone with the vitriolic rhetoric:

“This administration’s policies have resulted in an assault on many of our nation’s bedrock principles,” Cantor declared. “If you read the newspapers today, I, for one, am increasingly concerned about the growing mobs occupying Wall Street and the other cities across the country.” (My emphasis)

“And believe it or not, some in this town have actually condoned the pitting of Americans against Americans.” MUCH MORE

“I, for one, am increasingly concerned about the growing mobs occupying Wall Street and the other cities across the country.” Mobs? I thought they were peaceful protestors, even when sprayed with Pepper Spray for no apparent reason except an attempt to discredit the protestors as “radicals.” I know we couldn’t expect better from GOP hypocrites, however it is ironic beyond belief that protesters of the “Arab Spring” were hailed as “Freedom Fighters” who were being denied their inherent right to protest against tyranny and their demands for self-rule, while those in the United States whom are protesting for essentially the same reasons are labeled as “dangerous” and “UN-American.” Yes Mr. Cantor, those protesters are expressing their rage against a multitude of issues, and one of them is the Tea Party Traitors that used blackmail and extortion to force our Congress and Presidency to cave-in to the bulk of their unreasonable and anti-American values. I still maintain that Cantor and his ilk should be charged under the Patriot Act for Domestic Terrorism, declared an “enemy combatant” for his Economic Terrorism, and then shipped-off to GITMO.

Mitt Romney, not to be accused of failing to capitalize on a national protest against Wall Street Corruption, chimed in and called the protesters “Dangerous.”:

“Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney — who has raised $2.3 million from the financial sector — is no fan of the “Occupy Wall Street” demonstration in lower Manhattan.

“I think it’s dangerous, this class warfare,” he said at a retirement community in Florida. (My Emphasis)

As corporations enjoy near record profits and Americans face staggering unemployment, the protesters pledged to occupy Wall Street in lower Manhattan until something was done about corporate greed and the influence of the wealthy on American politics. MUCH MORE

There are very few of the radicals we have known and learned to ignore when we can, and oppose when it’s necessary, who are not vying for the proper venue to demonize the Wall Street Protestors. Orin Hatch, who has always been a GOP radical and apologist is seeking reelection in Utah and his campaign faces stiff opposition. When you don’t have a leg to stand on, disseminating B.S. and propaganda, filled with misleading information is the standard for desperate GOP officials who are now beginning to cringe in fear as angry Americans fill the streets protesting their rampant obstructionism and corruption. Orin Hatch, not to be outdone by the others whom are spewing hate and disinformation, stated that the protests would turn into riots:

Orrin Hatch: OWS Rallies Will Turn Into Riots

Kurt Nimmo for Rebel News

The political class in the district of criminals seems to have a wish – that the OWS protests turn to violence so the cops can be sent in and run them off. Establishment politicians hate the idea of citizens – described as motley by the corporate media – protesting against them.

“They’re alarming, and I’ll tell you we are going to get more of it. We are going to have riots in this country because of what these people are doing,” said long-time Washington fixture, Orrin Hatch of Utah. (My emphasis)

Dimly unperceptive as usual, Hatch said the OWS is motivated by Obama’s jobs bill and union leaders like James Hoffa who play the endless partisan game.

He said the feds will cut back on “entitlements” and this will “get people very angry and sooner or later people who basically are dependent upon the federal government and are about to be cut back, yeah, you are going to have lots of problems.”

Rush Limbaugh added his two cents this week when he said Obama is setting up the OWS to riot in the streets.

“On his program this afternoon, talk radio host Rush Limbaugh weighed in on the protests in Downtown Manhattan calling themselves Occupy Wall Street,” Ology reported on Thursday. “He quoted an anonymous friend when he said that it is possible that the White House was behind the protests to some degree and claimed that the Obama Administration wanted to foment riots to advance an anti-corporatist agenda.” (My emphasis)  MORE

Please take note that Orin Hatch didn’t state that the Wall Street Protests could turn into riots, he stated that the protests would turn into riots. Does Senator Hatch know something that the rest of us don’t know? Are GOP “Agent Provocateurs” being trained and deployed throughout the country even as I’m writing this Op-Ed?

Finally, Rand Paul chimed-in with one of the most absurd charges I’ve seen to date, excepting the last one illustrated below that takes the cake for GOP insensitivity and downright contempt for America’s working class:

Rand Paul: Obama inflaming ‘Occupy Wall Street’ mob

By Eric W. Dolan
Thursday, October 6, 2011

Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky on Fox Business warned Thursday that the “Occupy Wall Street” protest in New York City could become violent thanks, in part, to President Barack Obama.

“As far as this Occupy Wall Street movement goes, you know I see it sort of like a Paris mob,” he said. “I see the president’s rhetoric of envy inflaming the public.”

Sen. Paul said he “hoped” that the “Parisian mob” that Obama was inflaming didn’t result in “lawlessness” where protesters looted iPhones, “because rich people don’t deserve to have them.” (My emphasis)  MORE

Rand Paul has demonstrated that he too is clueless, or of a greater probability, in the pockets of the Koch Brothers and other Corporate contributors that support his position of fascism and authoritarian rule. The above quotes and rhetoric are obviously attempts to demonize the protestors and create a climate of fear, distrust, and paranoia among their various constituents. When you send out a message to thousands, or perhaps millions of your supporters that their “freedom” is being endangered by the current multi-city protests, the probability for counter-protests, agent provocateurs, and violence becomes close to an inevitability. (IMO) Now, let’s get to one individual that insulted the millions of people who are currently out of work and demonstrated why it is necessary to rid ourselves of individuals that hold the majority of American Society in contempt and yet hold positions of power in our own government. For this OP-Ed, Herman Cain receives our award for being one of the most arrogant, insensitive bastards that we’re ever witnessed in the political arena – and from the radical-right, this ignoramus actually receives cheers and applause:

Herman Cain to Occupy Wall Street protesters: If you’re not rich ‘blame yourself’

BY Aliyah Shahid
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER

Wednesday, October 5th 2011, 1:49 PM

Unemployed Wall Street protesters only have themselves to blame for lacking a job, so says Herman Cain.

The Republican presidential candidate insisted that the demonstrations were being “orchestrated” to help President Obama.

“I don’t have the facts to back this up, but I happen to believe that these demonstrations are planned and orchestrated to distract from the failed policies of the Obama Administration,” Cain told the Wall Street Journal.

The Tea Party favorite then argued that the plight of the unemployed was their own fault.

“Don’t blame Wall Street, don’t blame the big banks, if you don’t have a job and you’re not rich, blame yourself. It is not someone’s fault if they succeeded, it is someone’s fault if they failed,” the ex-Godfather’s Pizza CEO declared. MUCH MORE

Unfortunately, the above article and quotes were not the only example of Herman Cain displaying his ignorance and revulsion for Main Street Americans. In The State Column we found more of Cain’s propaganda and disgust with Main Street America, and from what we have been reading, Herman Cain may be one of the most self-serving SOB’s that we’ve ever seen who has a misbegotten fantasy/belief that he could ever be voted-in as President of The United States:

“Pizza magnate and GOP candidate Herman Cain slammed the Occupy Wall Street protests on Sunday. During an appearance on CBS’ “Face the Nation” with Bob Schieffer, Cain slammed the Occupy Wall Street protests as “anti-American” and “anti-capitalism.” “I don’t have a lot of patience for people who want to protest the success of somebody else,” Cain said.

Cain defended his use of the terms “anti-American” and “anti-capitalism” to describe the Occupy Wall Street protests: “The free market system and capitalism are the two things that have allowed this nation and this economy to become the biggest in the world.”

Cain defended his disgust for the Occupy Wall Street protests by illustrating his upbringing. “My parents, they never played the victim card. My parents never said that we hope the rich people lose something so that we can get something,” Cain said. (my emphasis) MUCH MORE

Mr. Cain, we don’t envy your wealth, and if you made it in business, good for you. But, since you brought up your success as Godfather’s CEO, don’t forget to mention to the American people that you were the CEO of a company that didn’t have labor unions to contend with, health insurance for low-level employees, most of whom work for minimum wage, and the Godfather model of using the very bottom of the labor base often makes managing that type of corporation far easier than to be the CEO of a corporation that actually takes a modicum of intelligence and creative thinking. In Herman Cain’s respect, I believe that he is the epitome of the Peter Principle and while he may have been successful – I doubt that he was anything more than a figure-head – good for business and Godfather’s Corporate image – but if ever elected President, an unmitigated disaster for the United States.

A Message For All Of The Protesters Throughout The United States

1.  Main Street America, which encompasses tens of millions of people are watching and applauding your efforts. Most of us wish we could be there, and while we may not be there in body, know that you are being supported in spirit by those whom you represent, by the Alternative and International media here and in other nations that recognize our nation’s hypocrisy in regard peaceful protests that develop in our own country.  As these protests grow and arrive at our respective cities, know that we will then be there and stand in solidarity in one of the first true grassroots movements that has materialized when many of us believed that our nation’s citizens had forgotten how to bring about change through an American tradition – peaceful protests, civil disobedience, and general strikes.

2.  Be careful, hold your ground, and above all, remain wary of anyone that begins to spew violent rhetoric that pretends to be part of the protest. All through our history there has been evidence of Agent Provocateurs who have infiltrated peaceful protests ever since I can remember, and as always, their goal is to discredit the protesters and the cause(s) they are supporting, and if you aren’t exercising extreme caution, filming those whom you believe may be GOP Plants and other Agent Provocateurs, the specter of violence and the unintended consequences of riots will remain to be one of your most significant obstacles. Historically speaking, whenever we see the GOP attempting to rally their base and incite fear, distrust, and claims that their freedom is in jeopardy, it is in preparation for their hidden agenda, and that’s to discredit these protests using any and all dirty tricks and subterfuge they can muster. Knowing that, and their history for corruption and downright criminality, take their rhetoric at face value; it has no basis in fact, it is highly inflammatory, and adding-up these facts reveals a recognizable pattern by those who do hate our liberty and freedom – The GOP’s radical and anti-American Congressmen who are in office to protect Corporate America and Wall Street’s dirty tricks – not the average American.

I have to disagree that people are just starting to “wake up.”

It’s like your younger sibling poking you, you deal with it and finally snap. Now, many are feeling the effects of the recession, and we’re all staring at the people who not only didn’t suffer during the recession, they took a fat bailout, paid their CEOs humongous bonuses with it, and turned a profit.

We didn’t wake up, we’ve just had enough. It’s fever pitch time.

In consideration of the breadth and scope of the recent GOP
attacks on Main Street America, it becomes obvious that the GOP must work to
discredit the protests that are now growing larger and affecting even more U.S.
Cities.  For their political agenda to succeed
    it is necessary for the GOP’s future to ensure that these protests fail;
therefore, I do not believe that my warning in regard Agent Provocateurs and
counter-protests whipped-up by fanatics like Glenn Beck are out of the
question. We must do anything and everything in our power to try and keep these
protests peaceful, and if they do turn violent, have the video evidence that it
was Agent Provocateurs that caused the violence – not the protesters.
