The Petition at Change.org is live and we need your signatures. Building # 4 isn't shoring itself up and those fuel rods will be the death of us if they aren't cared for and handled by an Agency that has the expertise to diffuse this difficult situation in a relatively quick, professional manner. You can sign the petition at this LINK! Make your mark on Washington today and urge your friends to do the same.

Truth or Consequences in the Budgetary Class War Waged in Congress

The reality is that many of our elected officials no longer believe they are answerable to the people; that the Constitution is merely an outdated piece of paper; and that we the people are largely simpletons whom they mock with their political spin and tales – their smug demeanor evident all the way to the bank. And sadder still is that we mostly prove them correct as we habitually fall along our divisive party lines. Mitch Gurney

MSM Is Not Covering Issues Vital To The People – CNN Down 50% In Total Viewers & Fox Down 17%

The viewer exodus is not limited to CNN, though. Roger Ailes' aging heavyweight champion FOX News "was not immune to a loss in viewership for the month of March and for the first quarter of 2012. For the month, Fox News is down -17%," according to another post by Ariens. Perhaps, if I may be so bold, this is what happens to you when you continue to report stories that no longer resemble -- even remotely -- what your own viewers see outside their windows and apartments.

The GOP’s Budget Plan Will Make The Obama Conundrum A Reality – The Only Solution Is To Vote Every One Of Them Out Of Office

House Republicans further threaten the middle class by rewarding companies for sending American jobs overseas. They want to revive the outsourcing loopholes that Democrats, including myself, have fought hard to close. These loopholes would exempt overseas profits from taxes, creating a greater incentive to relocate investments to other countries and leaving more of the tax burden to our middle class.

Corporate/Elitist Welfare vs. Personal Welfare – An In-Depth Analysis

A glaring contradiction exists in which some conservatives take issue with welfare for the needy but not for the wealthy or corporations…they hate these programs because they believe they create freeloaders and that people should fend for themselves, except for the wealthy and corporations of course… Consequently their mantra is welfare creates freeloaders and demand the programs be cut…but seldom do they demand cuts to subsidies that benefit the wealthy and corporations nor even acknowledge the existence of the corporate welfare system.

The Government Believes You Might Be A Domestic Terrorist If….

It seems that our government has drastically expanded its definition of Domestic Terrorism to include some of the most common practices that millions of Americans engage in on an everyday basis. This is tyranny and subversion of our Constitution and Bill of Rights and all of us should be righteously outraged at the government's meddling in our personal lives.

Occupy Elections – A way to Change the Nation

If we want real change we need campaign reform and an end to lobbying of congress. But it will be impossible to get such measures through a congress whose vested interest is in direct conflict with them. We must first vote nearly every one of them out of office. Will a vast majority of Americans - the proud and the brave - muster the collective strength to make such change even possible? Will this same public who falls so easily prey to the consumerism of Black Friday, camping overnight in Wal-Mart parking lots, pepper spraying and rioting over cheap waffle irons (once made in the U.S but now in China) muster the same bravado to organize and reclaim our government?

Our Nation’s Hypocritical Stance On The OWS Protestors And The Futility Of The 1% Writing Our Legislation

It’s becoming obvious that there is a national campaign, albeit under the table, to attempt and halt the Occupy Wall Street Protests occurring in cities across the nation. As we and others predicted, Agent Provocateurs have infiltrated and brought violence to some of the protests, the press was arrested in New York for attempting to ... Read More »
