While on the campaign trail, when politicians promise to “bring America back” and “bring jobs back to America” they are making old world promises that no longer apply in a globalized one world economy. Now we know why the Stimulus and tax cuts failed to adequately stimulate the American economy. Surely President Obama and Timothy Geithner were aware that this would happen before the funds were issued. This has been the 600 Lb Gorilla sitting in the living room and no one previously mentioned it nor addressed this critical issue. It seems obvious that President Obama needs to immediately change his advisers if we are to have any chance of saving the Republic.
If we take the reports at face value propagated by the Mainstream News Media and China, we are led to believe that the rising tensions between China and the United States center around our arms sale to Taiwan and President Obama's refusal to honor China's demand to forgo a scheduled meeting with the Dalai Lama. The above issues are certainly a thorn in our relationship with China, but matters of far more importance represent the real cause of our nations problems with China. The tension between China and the U.S. has been escalating for years; the reasons are complicated and fraught with several underlying issues that neither party will publicly admit, and as usual, our Mainstream News Media is keeping its citizens in the dark. Some of the tension is a grave matter of national security, and one issue was substantiated/discovered by Shawn Carpenter, a courageous employee of Sandia National Laboratories who, after exposing a dire breach of our national security - was rewarded by being fired from his position at Sandia Labs.

Research indicates that from 1979 through 2007 some 20.3 million manufacturing jobs have been lost in the US. Some of this loss can be attributed to normal fallout as a result of typical business cycles, but research indicates that 38 percent or 7.6 million – which I suspect is a conservative estimate - of those 20.3 million jobs were lost as a consequence of outsourcing and off-shoring.
