June Earthquake Report & Predictions For The Future

Good Morning Everyone! It's great to be alive and I hope to stay that way. Where I live, life can can extremely short, especially with my attitude that the truth should prevail no matter what the hazards are. I've decided to incorporate that attitude into my earthquake research and now I'm offering a glimpse of the future to all of you - and it isn't pretty. This report isn't meant to scare anyone. If you're a Born Again Christian, maybe you will want to go somewhere else. Great Quakes do not mean that the end is coming; they are simply a matter of nature, and with Climate Change at our doorstep combined with human caused Global Warming, the outcome will be shaky, but we shall survive - but not all of us.

August 17th Site Update And Earthquake Observations Regarding North America – Updated Again!

From San Francisco to the Mexican Border, there is a huge amount of earthquake activity that in the past month or two, has rose in frequency and magnitude. We took special note of the earthquakes above 2.5 Magnitude that have been striking the Greater Los Angeles Area all the way down to the border. Does this mean the "Big One" is coming sooner rather than later? I don't know, and if there is anything I've learned about earthquakes is that predicting them is half luck and half educated guess, and then the probability of being correct is impossible to calculate.

Geologically Speaking, Today Has Been Extremely Active And There Could Be More To Come… Updated

It's extremely rare to experience two (2) Great Quakes within hours of each other as witnessed in Indonesia earlier this morning. North America is also experiencing an ominous amount of earthquakes, and today, a Magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck MICHOACAN, MEXICO, followed this evening by a 5.9 Magnitude quake which struck within the area of the Cascadia Subduction Zone.

March Site Update And Another West Coast Earthquake Warning

This is where the problem lies; for the past several decades, if not for almost three hundred (300) years, the Cascadia Subduction Zone has, for all practical purposes, been close to dormant and it appears for the past few decades the tectonic plates have been firmly "locked." When we wrote "Volcanic Activity Appears To Be Working It’s Way Around The “Ring of Fire” in January of 2008, we based this prediction on years of research and a firm belief that "Earthquake Patterns" are real albeit extremely difficult to interpret. We now believe that our hypothesis has been proven beyond any reasonable doubt as evidenced by the re-awakening of the Cascadia Subduction Zone within such a short amount of time (geologically speaking) of our prediction and rationale for said activity. (Please see "Increase Of Earthquakes And Volcanic Activity Are Caused By Climate Change.")

The Cascadia Subduction Zone Demonstrates 6.0 Quake Activity And The West Coast Could Be In Danger

These past few months have brought unprecedented activity to the Cascadia Subduction Zone, possibly the most dangerous seismic zone on the U.S. West Coast. We have witnessed 4.0 + quakes at each end of the zone which have become almost commonplace and just a few minutes ago, there was a 6.0 quake off the coast of Oregon, rattling the subduction zone with higher and higher magnitude quakes which and at this time, we have to ask ourselves if these quakes are "pre-quakes" that could be leading up to an event of unimaginable death and destruction.

What Caused Colorado’s 5.3 Earthquake on August 23rd And Other Unrelated U.S. Seismic Activity?

As of this date there has been no definitive explanation on what caused the recent 5.3 earthquake that rattled Colorado on August 23rd at 37.070°N, 104.700°W.  We are being precise in the exact location to aid in identifying what could have caused this quake, and while our hypothesis may not be correct, at this time ... Increase Of Earthquakes And Volcanic Activity Are Caused By Climate Change

This is an abbreviated report that discusses the relationship of climate change and the increase in earthquakes and volcanic activity currently being highlighted throughout the MSM. Climate change is substantiated as the cause of these events, and until proved otherwise, is the current hypothesis that is backed-up by science and factual evidence.

Early April 2010 Earthquake And Volcanic Activity Update

The 7.2 Magnitude Earthquake that occurred yesterday afternoon just south of the U.S. Mexico border is only a sample of what may happen if the San Andreas Fault actually has a major earthquake, and for the southern section of the fault, a 7.2 is a major event, however, keep in mind that it could strike with a magnitude of 8.0 or above, and that would be referred to as a Mega-disaster. (This quake, as of this date, has not been pinned-down to an exact location.) From the USGS:

UPDATED: Japan’s 7.0 And Chile’s 8.8 EarthQuakes – Are They Related? Can we expect more?

I was shocked this morning to note that Chile had been hit by an 8.8 Magnitude earthquake, a giant and the second-largest since 1900. My first thought was whether this adds credence to the belief/evidence that large earthquakes can trigger other quakes thousands of miles away? I've been waiting to see if the MSM would comment on this matter, and so far, I haven't found a reference to what may be an important correlation of events. Furthermore, if Japan's 7.0 quake could have triggered an 8.8 magnitude earthquake - could this last monster of an earthquake trigger other events "thousands of miles away" since it is an even larger event than what happened in Japan.
