Even though I haven’t written anything in a long while I have closely monitored the site, paid the bills, and kept up my reading of local and international news. I did post an article yesterday titled The Sorry State Of Our Nation And How We Can Reclaim America which exemplified my anger and frustration regarding the disastrous state of our democracy which I have been monitoring for months during the time I was incapable of writing. I often urge Americans to stand together in solidarity against the forces that are crumbling our democracy and destroying the heart and soul of our nation. I am a realist and grudgingly admit that the majority of our fellow countrymen do not possess the motivation, courage, and patriotic fervor that our forefathers possessed when thousands of them fought and died to create our beloved country. Perhaps when we reach rock bottom and are far past the tipping point the public will awaken, but by them, I fear it will be far too late to do anything other than bemoan the loss of our liberty and freedom.
I would like to offer Mitch Gurney, The Political Bandit’s second-in command, a special thanks for writing as much as he could, and especially for the clarity and significance of the content which he made available to the public. Mr. Gurney is a meticulous writer and his research and understanding of the issues we face is second to none. One of his pieces, The Debates over the Bush Tax Cuts, is extremely astute and even the charlatans on Capitol Hill would be well served if they read his insightful essay before debating whether or not to continue Bush’s Tax cuts as a whole or only for those whom earn less than 250K per year. Unfortunately, we already know that facts and logic will not be the deciding factors in their upcoming decision. Our Congress does not make decisions on the merit of the issues they debate, but more so on political considerations and how much lobbyist money they have received to sway their votes. For all practical purposes the American Congress is grossly ineffective and I’d guess that 75% of them (Or more.) are corrupt and hopelessly addicted to their true motivators; money and power.
Mitch also has the ability to write about issues that make our collective blood boil as we understand how and why we are unable to change factors that are destroying our country, and he does it almost as an impartial observer and with a finesse and eloquence that makes his writing easy to understand which is abundant with substantiation and is almost beyond reproach or refutation. My hat is off to Mr. Gurney and I hope that he will continue to offer up his scathing critiques of issues that are very seldom presented with such clarity and honesty. Thank you Mitch for the many contributions and hours of research and hard work that you have made available to the readership of Justanothercoverup/ThePoliticalBandit.
Even though I write with a completely different style than Mitch Gurney, there is a common thread in our articles and the overall thrust of our collective works. Both of us are deeply concerned and outraged over the plight of the average American and the destruction of our once thriving Middle-Class. I believe that the assault on America is despicable and well planned. There is not a nation on this earth that could have wrought the destruction on our economy and brought the United States almost to our knees and in a state of virtual bankruptcy unless it was a full scale attack instigated by China or Russia.
It’s unbelievably sad that those who attacked our great nation were the bankers and thieves on Wall Street and Corporate America, driven by our nation’s Elites in their quest for more money and power. You won’t hear these allegations on CNN, Fox, ABC, CBS, or NBC. Our Mainstream News Media is corporate controlled and owned by many of the perpetrators of America’s demise. Our President attempts to create jobs for those who cannot feed their families, their livelihoods shipped off to foreign countries, and even while the country struggles to reinvent our economy, corporate America is still busily outsourcing vital American manufacturing and jobs. Those that value their profits more than the survival of the United States are still actively undermining any and all efforts to save the country that most of us love and cherish. Yes, this is a war for our survival. Those who embrace corporatism, which is a nice word for Fascism, pose the greatest danger to the ultimate survival of the United States as a free and democratic nation.
It is the stated goal of ThePoliticalBandit/Justanothercoverup to continue to try and educate those who are either in denial or do not possess the facts that indicate our great nation is under attack. Make no mistake, those that have no respect for our Constitution and the American way of life are on the verge of gaining complete control of this nation. “The Fascist Five” at the Supreme Court have opened up the gates to allow Corporations and Billionaires the ability to pour countless millions of dollars into our election process to corrupt any chance that we may have had at fair and balanced elections. Carl Rove, Bush’s architect for his criminal Administration is at it again, this time attempting to hand over power to those that favor fascism over democracy. The challenges we face to our liberty, freedom, and the American way of life almost appear to be insurmountable. Truth and knowledge are the weapons that we must utilize to fight off those who are challenging our democracy and freedom, however, disseminating those truths so that they reach a wide swath of our population is a huge task itself. The Mainstream News Media is worthless and will not help to further our cause. Our politicians are too dependent on corporate and lobbyist donations to speak truth to power and instead choose the easy way out by remaining pawns to those who seek to destroy our country. The alternative news, which we are a part of, is the only media outlet that is speaking the truth and attempting to alert the American public to the danger that is threatening to destroy liberty and freedom forever.
Do not be satiated by MSM reports that the recession is over. There are several facts that our corrupt news media is not covering in enough detail to the public and are glossed over by the Washington Spin Machine. US homes lost to foreclosure (are) up 25 pct on year, and that indicates that the housing crisis is far from over. As it pertains to our economy, there is another crisis which is brewing that could far out-shadow the housing crisis in its impact on our fragile economy. Wherever you live, take the time to get in your car and visit your local Malls and drive by the thousands of Strip-Malls that dot our cityscape. Please take note of the huge amount of vacancies that you see in these areas; businesses are closing and downsizing across America, and there is another real estate crash that is developing but is not being reported by the MSM. Business properties are being abandoned by the thousands. It won’t be long until another rush of foreclosures impacts our banks and lending institutions, and the collective worth of those properties could dwarf the impact of our housing crisis. Do not pay attention to the stock market. Wall Street is the playground of the wealthy and corporate entities that are helping to destroy our economy and have little or no impact on Main Street until they finally crash and burn – at which time it may be too late to save our country.
Since we have been operating this Blog we have reached hundreds of thousands of Americans and now have a substantial international readership. In order to spread the message to those that are unaware of the not-so-secret Corporate/Elitist War on America we need to expand our penetration and visibility and that costs money. It is not very often that we solicit donations, however, due to the current political situation and the treacherous actions by our Supreme Court we find it necessary to try and reach those millions of Americans that have been misinformed by the MSM and Washington’s bureaucrats. I have constantly mentioned the complacency of the American general population, however, upon looking deeper into the phenomena, it’s extremely possible if not probable that the inaction of the public is based on lack of knowledge rather than complacency.

Because of the complicity of the MSM it is necessary to take this fight to the streets and try and enlist those who have lost their livelihoods and homes to those who view the average American as nothing more than pawns in their efforts to acquire complete dominance of our political system. Lies and misinformation can only be conquered by truth and facts. We do have a viable plan of action to accomplish our goals and I hope that it comes as no surprise that we are not showing our hand at this critical time in the War on America.
